As a General and Gastrointestinal Surgeon with a special focus on Colorectal and Endometriosis Surgery, my priority is to provide each patient with a clear diagnosis, a personalised treatment plan and compassionate care throughout every stage of their journey, combining clinical precision with a genuinely patient-centred approach.

Education & Training

I am a specialist in General and Gastrointestinal Surgery with extensive experience in advanced surgical care. I graduated in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Castilla-La Mancha and completed my specialist surgical training at the Consorcio Hospital General Universitario de Valencia, achieving the highest distinction.

Throughout my career, I have developed particular expertise in Colorectal Surgery and Proctology, and currently practise as a Consultant Surgeon at the Hospital General Universitario de Valencia. My work in this field includes abdominopelvic cancer surgery, surgery for deep infiltrating endometriosis and the surgical management of pelvic floor disorders.

With advanced training in laparoscopic and robotic surgery using the Da Vinci Surgical System, my practice has a strong focus on minimally invasive surgery. I combine the latest scientific evidence with advanced surgical technology to provide personalised care, with the aim of achieving the best possible recovery and quality of life for each patient.

My commitment to comprehensive patient care has led me to undertake further specialist training, including a Master’s Degree in Advanced General and Gastrointestinal Surgery at Universidad Cardenal Herrera–CEU, as well as postgraduate qualifications in Colorectal, Hepatopancreatobiliary (HPB) and Oesophagogastric Surgery. I also hold a Master’s Degree in Aesthetic Medicine from the University of Valencia, which allows me to incorporate aesthetic principles into selected complex procedures.

Alongside my clinical practice, I am a member of several multidisciplinary specialist teams, including the hospital’s Tumour Board, Peritoneal Carcinomatosis Multidisciplinary Team and Specialist Unit for Deep Infiltrating Endometriosis.

I am also actively involved in research and surgical education. I teach on the Master’s programme in Robotic and Advanced Laparoscopic Surgery at the University of Valencia and contribute to specialist courses, surgical workshops and educational programmes organised by a range of scientific and healthcare organisations.

Continuing Professional Development

For me, medicine is a lifelong process of learning and development. Research and continuous professional development are therefore an important part of my work, helping me stay at the forefront of advances in surgery and patient care.

Research: I have published more than 60 articles in peer-reviewed journals, contributed to two specialist book chapters and participated in over 20 research projects.
Scientific Communication: I have presented more than 100 papers and communications at scientific meetings and conferences.
Continuing Professional Development: I have attended more than 400 national and international courses and conferences.

I see these achievements not simply as academic milestones, but as an essential part of providing my patients with care that is up to date, evidence-based and as safe and effective as possible.
